Willy has discovered another favorite past-time, ice fishing. So far for the past 2 months we have spent a certain amount of hours each weekend on Sandwash Lake fishing. Some days they caught 4 or so and some days they came home without any, but they had a good time.
Wyatt, Clayton, and Sadie don't have the patience to sit and wait for the fish to bite, so they spent their waiting pulling each other around on the sled and loving every minute of it.
Wyatt got a new pole, but he couldn't stand sitting like this for very long; soon he was out with Sadie and Clayton running as fast as they could around in circles.
Clayton loves fishing more than the other two kids. He sat the longest out of all of them waiting for his turn to "reel one in." He also couldn't resist a free ride on the sled, courtesy of Wyatt.
We were able to talk Great Grandpa, Grandpa, and Shantay to come fishing one time. It was fun to have them their, but they didn't stay a whole long time because the fish weren't biting and Shantay wasn't dressed for the occasion.
Sadie is an all-time fisherman. As soon as Daddy mentions the word fish, she is at his side and waiting to go. She didn't always get to go with the boys; there were a few times she was confined to the house with Mom. But if you give her a choice, she would rather be fishing with Daddy.
