SpriNg bReaK aDvenTures

Last week was the boys spring break. They had the whole week off school, it would have been nice to go somewhere, but we just stayed home, Willy worked, and the kids played and played and played... They didn't get much reading done during the week, shame on me!... I was a little busy painting our utility room, again!!! and it is finally all the same color... I think I finally like the color... I will take some pictures, but I want to re-do the floor first. I think for the sake of money and time...and the fact that it is just the utility room, I will buy the stickon vinyl tiles from Lowe's and put down.

Darby got the ride of her life. It was finally warm enough to take her outside for the first time to play and she loved eating the grass and whatever else she could get her hands on. Wyatt wanted to give her a ride in the little jeep... Clayton and Sadie helped... they loaded her up and off they went around the yard. I thought while she was being entertained I would prune some trees around the yard. A few minutes later I hear all the kids screaming and laughing over by the big sand hill. I walked over there... and there they were pushing Darby and the jeep down the hill as fast as their little legs would go... screaming and laughing at the top of their lungs... having the time of their lives. Darby loved it!!!

Sometimes it is nice just to stay home, work on some projects and hang out as a family. Some of our best memories have been made at home.

Spring has sprung... almost!
