 I made another set of tags for the kids backpacks. These are so durable and I hope it helps remind the kids that we love them and are thinking of them all day. Last year I hung them on the outside of their bags and they got all kinds of abuse, so this year I am going to hang them inside their bags, somewhere they will see them every time they open them up. Darby doesn't go to school yet, but I just had to make her one too.

Clean school boxes...finally!

I know I am really behind with everything. I have been meaning to clean out the kids' boxes the whole summer, but it didn't get done... and even when school started it still didn't get done. So finally the other day when I couldn't put any more papers in them... I decided that was the day to get them cleaned. It took half the day to go through everything that they got from school, but it is done! They look so nice and clean now, too bad it won't last. Maybe this time I can keep up a little better.

School is back in session...

Summer is over and school has started again. The boys are kind of excited, and this is Sadie's first year so she is in for a new experience but she is really excited and loves Kindergarten. I am glad there is school because I don't have the patience to teach my kids all that they need to learn. I am really grateful for their teachers, who spend lots of time to teach them. It takes a village to raise a child... so very true. I hope my children have a wonderful school year.

Clayton's {First Grade} Jungle Party

The first grade class had a party... down at the Price Wavepool... for those kids who read at least 100 books or more. Clayton was so excited until we got into the pool.... he only stayed in about 20 minutes before he wanted out... it was so cold. All the kids had fun and no one drown thankfully.... those waves were pretty wild. I had a fun day with Clayton and I am so proud of his achievements. He got his report card and more books to read... it should be a fun summer.

I love Packages!!!

I love getting packages in the mail!...{it is one of my favorite things... even if I know what it is} I got Wyatt a school book a couple of years ago... now that Clayton is in school and Sadie will be going next year... I thought it was time to get them school books too... while I was ordering, I got one for Darby as well. They came in the mail and they are really cute. The only glitch is the 3 new ones are for all 12 years of school and Wyatt's is only for 8 years {we might have to buy him a new one}.

School was so much fun for me and I hope my kids have as much fun... or more.

backpack {tags}

I read somewhere that a Mom had made tags for her kids backpacks, and thought that was a great idea... especially for Wyatt... he is my more attached child, so maybe a picture would help him.

This is the first ones I made, but it only took one week and Clayton had lost his... Wyatt's is still looking good.

Then I had to do a little thinking and decided that this might be the best way to go... I used a juice can lid, drilled a hole on one side, and modge podged the picture to it. I think this one will last the rest of the school year. With Clayton, everything has to be durable, lol.

First Day of School

Summer went by so fast and now the boys are back in school. I am excited this year because I don't have to drive kindergarten... Clayton will go all day to first grade. He is really excited and is having lots of fun in school... his teacher is Mrs. Tew and he really likes her. I think Wyatt skipped a grade... thats what it feels like, he is already in third grade... I can't believe it!... Mrs. Christensen is his teacher and he really likes her to. I am excited for the things they get to do and learn, but I really miss them while they are gone. It just isn't the same. Some days it's hard letting go...

Sadie and I will start having preschool when we get home from Bridger. She could have gone this year, but I didn't think she was quite ready so we will send her next year.

Oh, how I love my children...

because Kindergarten started a week later,
but it was when school still seemed new and exciting.
