Cuties on Wheels

Our kids love to ride anything with wheels... and they are getting really good at it. Sadie is learning how to drive the four-wheeler... it is funny to watch them.

Our Family Band

There are moments when everything is... PERFECT!...The other night was one of those moments. We were driving home... all six of us piled in the truck... listening to the radio and singing along. Wyatt was playing the electric guitar, Clayton was playing the drums and the rest of us were singing along to the songs. It was so much fun and for that one moment everything was just perfect.... no fighting... or arguing... just fun! I hope that's what heaven is like.

Complete Surprise....

Life has been a little crazy, but I think we might be getting things under control, lol. Someday I will be able to do everything and still have time to relax... ha ha ha... in heaven, I know.

I just have to tell you about the funniest thing that happened the other day. We went to Walmart as a family and were doing the usual shopping. Of course we ended up back in the boys section of Walmart... we were by the radios and Willy was talking about getting a radio for his newest toy... a big blue jacked-up Ford... I had found the maps that I really needed months ago for scouts. Everything was good... then all of a sudden there was a huge blast of music coming from the radio wall... I looked over and I will never forget the look on Wyatt and Clayton's faces... there eyes looked like they could pop out of their heads...  they didn't know whether to run away and hide... or try and turn it off. At this point I am laughing hysterically... Willy finally turned it off. I still giggle when I think it. We thought it was probably some teenager playing a trick... turning the radio all the way up so when someone turned it on, it would blast them across the isle... they probably didn't expect it to be two little boys.

We have some crazy adventures... lol.

 

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...

This is one of my favorite sights. Nothing takes my breath away like watching my children having fun together and hearing their laughter.

Sadie & Sour Cream

Willy couldn't help but take pictures the other night at dinner. We were eating tacos and Sadie had hers loaded with sour cream... and then she really went to town eating it... as you can see. At least she wasn't complaining... I get a lot of that at dinner.

Rio, Rio, Rio...

 Darby's favorite movie is Rio... she wants to watch it everyday, all day long. It is really cute to hear her say... RIO RIO RIO... sweet girl.

someone KIDNAPPED my camera...

The other day I picked up my camera and was going through the photos and this is what I found... I did not take these pictures, but I think I know who did (the hang loose signs could only mean, Wyatt), lol. I had a good laugh... they are cute. We have a photographer in the making, and a model too.

children, children and more children

Willy makes me laugh some days... he teases me when I say we have 4 kids and he says 14. It has been a winter with no snow at our house and it hasn't been to cold (I do hope we get more snow in the mountains though or it will be a dry summer). The kids have enjoyed playing outside without all the snow.

 I was playing with my new camera and took some great coloring pictures for the kids... they want me to print them so they can color themselves.

Poor little Darby was sick so Willy and I slept in the living room with her. I don't like it when our kids are sick but we have been very blessed because we haven't had very much sickness.

Children are challenging! Just when you think that you have a good routine and everything is going good then they change and you have to start all over. Darby used to take regular naps... but just like her siblings at about 15months all that changes and they don't think they need naps anymore... but they get so tired that they have to sleep sometime... Darby was sitting at the table eating her lunch when I look over there and she is fast asleep, lol. These are the precious moments. Enjoy...

Why do kids have to touch and try everything?... curiosity and learning, I guess. Willy got new bags for the four-wheeler and the kids had to try them out. silly... silly... silly...

{letters}

I finally found a letter for Darby's name... the problem is that it isn't the same size as the others... but it will have to work. It also didn't come with magnets on the back like the others so I had to drill holes and glue in magnets so it would stay on the fridge. I think it turned out as cute as the others. The kids love these they lose them all the time and I find them in odd places.

I hear this phrase all day long... and this is where I found Darby when I walked into the girls room the other day... I am pretty sure she didn't climb in there herself... she was having a good time playing... and so were Clayton and Sadie...

Sadie, Darby and Clayton were so cute the other day. I went in to check on them and they had Darby dressed in Sadie's playdress. Sadie was also dressed up the they were playing a make believe game. It was so fun to see them getting along and having fun. Clayton and Sadie are so good to take Darby to play with them... and she loves it!
