Tea Party Time

 The girls and I were very excited when we got an invitation to a Tea Party at Daisy and Coralee's house. We have tea parties at our house with the three of us, but now we got to go have a tea party with some other girls too. Sadie and Darby had a hard time waiting the couple of days until the party. Finally the day came... we got all dressed up... and arrived at Daisy and Coralee's house.

 Daisy, Coralee, and Lisa were all dressed up as well. They had also decorated their house all up for the Tea Party. It was so much fun. We visited for a few minutes until they decided that no one else was coming then we started with the appetizers. Lisa was so fun explaining everything to the girls. We talked as we ate very slowly and took really small bites. Besides the appetizers {fruits and vegetables}, we ate small sandwiches, then desserts and topped that all off with some tea {pink lemonade}.

The girls all talked, giggled and had lots of fun... especially when it came to calling for the Butler {Daisy and Coralee's dad Cory}. Lisa taught them to clap twice when they needed more food, drink or something cleaned up... Cory was such a good sport. Lisa later told me that Daisy and Coralee had asked him themselves to be their butler at their tea part.

We had so much fun... and every day since then, Darby asks me if we are going to a Tea party, lol. We will have to have another one again soon.

Little Miss {6 year old}

 Our little girl is getting big {and beautiful}. She really enjoyed her birthday this year... {and I really enjoyed it because we could have it outside and the weather was nice}. I asked Sadie what kind of cake she wanted and she said "I want a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting"... my kind of girl, lol. She got lots of barbie stuff which is exactly what she wanted. It was a fun afternoon with all the family there. {Caleb and Bailey are officially engaged}

pLayiNg drEssUp

Sadie, Darby and Clayton were so cute the other day. I went in to check on them and they had Darby dressed in Sadie's playdress. Sadie was also dressed up the they were playing a make believe game. It was so fun to see them getting along and having fun. Clayton and Sadie are so good to take Darby to play with them... and she loves it!

This is the cutest picture! Sadie was riding the stick horse at Grandma & Grandpa's house and Grandpa had to join in the fun. They were racing around the house... it was really funny... Grandpa is such a good sport.

5 {year old} Tea Party

 Sadie has wanted to have a Tea Party for a long time... so I thought it would be fun to have one for her birthday. Daddy and the boys were less enthusiastic, but they did cooperate... they wore their ties... and drake from tea cups. Darby wore a Toto, I had on some play jewelery, and Sadie wore her new outfit from Grandma & Grandpa Hansen. I let Sadie pick out a recipe for her cake which I made... but then she wouldn't eat it {what a pill}. It was a fun Tea Party. We ate, let her open her present, and then played the thimble game {of course}.

We also celebrated again on the weekend with more family, and she got some really cute presents. Sadie got a stick horse and a stuffed pig from Grandma & Grandpa Bird which she won't hardly put down. Sadie had lots of fun and loves her birthday. We love her so much, she brings lots of joy to our home.

Princess Hair-Cut

4 Year Old Princess

Happy Birthday, Sadie

Sadie has been waiting for her birthday impatiently since Wyatt has his, 3 days ago. She had a wonderful birthday.

I made her a party hat that she wouldn't wear because the first time she had it on she flipped herself in the face with the elastic, so that was the end of that.

We had strawberry shortcake for her party, but we couldn't enjoy any leftovers because while everyone was playing and visiting, Sadie devoured all the strawberries. I should have taken a picture of her rosy red face covered in strawberry juice. What a pill!
Sadie was so excited for her presents. She knew she was getting a bike, because her brothers talked about it nonstop, so when we gave it to her she was thrilled (now she can ride with the big boys). She loved everything she got and hasn't been able to let anyone else touch her new presents.

We are so glad we have a sweet little girl. Life definitely wouldn't be the same without her. We love our children very much.

Dance for Tots

Sadie wanted to be in the drillteam clinic this year mostly because Aunt Shantay was there,

but Shantay wasn't her teacher, so the first day we went she wouldn't do anything,
except run around.

When we got home I told her that I paid for her to do this,
so she was going to learn the dance.

The rest of the week went really well.
Sadie learned the dance and was really cute.
I am proud of her for doing it.

I videoed her at practice because I had a feeling that she wasn't going to
go out in front of all those people and perform,
and I was right, she didn't.
So I was really grateful that I videoed her at practice,
so that Daddy and others could see how cute she is.

Sadie's 2nd Birthday

Sadie is one of a kind. I don't think she knew for sure what was going on, but she got excited when it came time for her to blow out the candles and open her presents. She loves horses I think more than anything else, so that is what almost everyone got her. I think she ended up getting 6 horses, 1 baby, some sandals and a dress. She absolutely loves her horses. She was a little frustrated at first because she didn't know what to do with the reins, but after a while she just led her little horses around and had a good time.
Luckily we I didn't drop her cake and everything went good. So now we can wait for another year.
