Celebrating the 4th of July

How did you celebrate the 4th of July???

 We dressed up all cute in red, white and blue...

 we played in the water barrel and got all wet...

 we made a whole cookie sheet full of smores in the oven and ate them all...

 we found Mr. Toad and invited him to play...

 we had a war with snappers...

 we relaxed on the back patio...

we used glow sticks as our fireworks because it was a dry year and fireworks were band...

 we wore the glow sticks and used them to play tag and 500...

It was a great night!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!

I hope everyone had as much craziness and fun as we did... on this 4th of July.

We had fireworks... that the kids absolutely loved... 

food, food, and more food... including corn on the cob and pork chops...

a picnic up to the mountains... with family...

and lots of work... we put up our awning in almost a day.

I am so excited about our awning... it has already helped cool the house... and I love sitting on the porch... next we put on the metal roofing... and I will be so glad when it is all done.
