lets take a road trip to Manti

Traveling is what the kids and I did for half the summer. We started out by visiting Rebecca & Jake and their boys. It was so much fun. While we were down their we saw the Manti Pageant {lost and found Clayton that night}, we went swimming at the pool {and got a good sunburn}, made homemade suckers {Rebecca had an easy recipe for making them... the kids gobbled them up}, and found out Rebecca was expecting baby #4 {she just couldn't keep it a secret any more}. I am looking forward to visiting again next summer.

 The kids were so intent on watching the suckers in the oven. There's a cute big kid in the back, lol.

 The suckers were made from jolly ranchers... so yummy!

 The girls both got their faces painted when we stopped by the craft fair, after saving seats at the Pageant.

Todd Max's {Baby Blessing}

We a have a new little nephew. His name is Todd Max Huntzinger ... he belongs to Melissa & Darron. He was born on Melissa's birthday, April 3rd {what a birthday present!!!} We went out to the city for his Blessing a couple weeks ago. He is so cute ... a sweet little baby. It was fun to see everyone and visit. There is nothing like family!

Joshua's Graduation

I know it has been a while since I have added anything new. Life has been really busy with kids, house, and spring. There are so many things to get done in the spring before everything has sprung.

In March the kids and I went with our family out to Joshua's Graduation to become a Jailer. It was fun getting together with everybody. Joshua looked handsome in his uniform and was excited for this day to come... months of being away from his new bride was hard. The kids sat pretty good through the ceremony and then we all survived the city as we drove to go eat and then did a little shopping. I am grateful I had Shantay with me... it would have been a nightmare to shop with the kids alone... but we survived and made it home safe. I love our family.

Life will teach us some things we didn't think we wanted to know. These hard lessons can be the most valuable ones.
